All three members of Lacy Cobweb have some involvement with the Morris - both dancing and playing (but not necessarily at the same time!)

So we thought, let's have our OWN Morris dancing side. And so we have...

Nightshade Morris is a mixed side (men and women) who dance in the Border Morris style - a highly energetic form of Morris involving the wielding of big wooden sticks and danced with both grace and a controlled aggression born of musical intoxication.

Nightshade Morris practice every Sunday, starting at 4pm. Practices are usually for an hour, but that may extend to 90 mins or 2 hours.

We practice at Tilstock Bradbury Village Hall, in the sleepy village of Tilstock, North Shropshire, just outside of both Wem and Whitchurch.
